A Sawyerville man has been arrested on two counts of indecent exposure and a felony drug possession charge following an incident at a Dollar General store and a post office in the Sawyerville area.
According to a complaint filed in Hale County District Court on April 22, 2026, Arthur Jamar Fields, 25, allegedly exposed himself to the store manager at the Dollar General and then walked to the nearby post office, where he allegedly exposed himself to two workers through a window. The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on April 21.
Fields was also charged with possession of a controlled substance after he was allegedly found with three pills he identified as ecstasy while at the Hale County Jail.
As of April 22, Hale County District Court records listed Fields’s status as jailed, with bond set at $8,500.
