‘Market Ready’ food safety workshop will be May 19 in Tuscaloosa

The Tuscaloosa County Extension Office will host a “Market Ready: Licenses, Permits, & Food Safety Basics” workshop on Tuesday, May 19, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The workshop, organized by Alabama A&M University and Auburn University’s Alabama Cooperative Extension System, is designed for farmers and producers looking to sell their goods.

  • Food safety fundamentals

The event will be held at the Tuscaloosa County Extension Office, 1800 McFarland Blvd. E., Tuscaloosa, on the second floor above the Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
