Three Bibb County jail employees have been charged with felonies after authorities said one had sexual contact with an inmate and all three smuggled contraband into the facility.
CJ Naramore Graham, 41, of Newbern, has been charged with custodial sexual misconduct and promoting prison contraband, according to court records filed March 11. Court documents allege that Graham had sexual intercourse with an inmate in her custody between Jan. 1 and March 10.
Graham is also accused of providing inmates with cell phones, earbuds, vapes, and razors.
Two other employees, Kaci Foster, 19, and Martina Brown, 25, both of Centreville, are each charged with promoting prison contraband. They are accused of providing inmates with the same types of items.
All three were arrested on March 10 and held at Chilton County Jail for security reasons. They have since been released on bond.
“My office will not allow an employee or individual to compromise the safety, security, or integrity of our jail,” Sheriff Jody Wade said. “We will hold anyone accountable who violates the law or abuses their position.”
