HCSD reports arrests for capital murder, failure to appear, assault, domestic violence

Hale County Sheriff’s Dept. has released the follow report of the department’s recent activity:

Arrests:
September 29, 2025

Kenneth Brady Turner, 31, of Greensboro, was arrested for discharging a gun into an unoccupied building; capital murder (two counts); and domestic violence, third degree.
Allen Christopher Vaughn, 37, of Greensboro, was arrested for first-degree possession of marijuana.
Dexter Oneal Harris, 39, of Greensboro, was arrested for first-degree rape and second-degree rape.

September 30, 2025
Demetrius Jquan High, 28, of Greensboro, was arrested for failure to appear (two counts) and chemical endangerment of a child.

Ocie Mack Daniels, 64, of Gallion, was arrested for failure to appear.

October 3, 2025
Marcus Darrell Jackson, 38, of Newbern, was arrested for first-degree assault.

October 4, 2025
Shawn Lee Osborn, 53, of Akron, was arrested for second-degree assault.
Jamel Rashad Jones, 41, of Greensboro, was arrested for failure to appear and child support.

Incidents:

Larceny/theft was reported on Persimmon Road near Greensboro.

September 30, 2025
An incident was reported on Indian Hill Road near Moundville.

Harassment was reported on County Road 7 near Greensboro.
