Maw was never one to shy away from work and was equally at home in the kitchen and in her yard tending her roses or garden. Many people in Greensboro benefitted from her divinity at Christmas and she was always one that you did not have to wonder what was on her mind. She loved her family and friends fiercely and always wanted to make sure they were taken care of. Her home and kitchen were always open to anyone who needed a meal or a cup of coffee. Countless hunters and EMTs were drug in by her grandsons to eat Saturday morning breakfast at her house. Many of these people still ask about Maw when they see her family. Maw’s memory will last through all the people that she loved on.

She loved Jesus and was a faithful member of the Greensboro Baptist Church until failing health kept her from attending. We all take comfort in knowing that she is at the feet of Jesus now.
