HCSD reports arrests for attempting to elude, reckless endangerment, DUI

Hale County Sheriff’s Dept. has released the follow report of the department’s recent activity:

Arrests:

July 28, 2025
Mary Hood, 55, of Tuscaloosa, was arrested for two counts of reckless endangerment, two counts of second-degree assault, and two counts of attempting to elude.

July 31, 2025
Phillis Alue Williams, 62, of Greensboro, was arrested for second-degree possession of marijuana.

August 2, 2025
Kendrick Horton, 30, of Moundville, was arrested for attempting to elude.

August 3, 2025
Veronica Latasha Parker, 37, of Greensboro, was arrested for improper tag and no driver’s license.
Tracy Green, 27, of Marion, was arrested for seconddegree possession of marijuana.
Jecorrey Levonte Lee, 23, of Tuscaloosa, was arrested for driving under the influence.

Incidents:

July 29, 2025
Domestic violence in the third degree was reported on Pelican Road near Sawyerville.

Burglary in the third degree and larceny/theft were reported on County Road 10 near Newbern.

July 31, 2025
Theft of property in the first degree was reported on Wood Loop Road near Newbern.

August 3, 2025
Assault in the first degree was reported on County Road 14 near Sawyerville.
