Isaac “Ike” Lockett died in Greensboro, Alabama, on July 5, 2025. He was 85 years old.
He was born on June 3, 1940, in Greensboro, Alabama, the son of the late Hattie Lockett and Jean Shacklefoot. A lifelong resident of Greensboro, Ike was known as a good steward to those around him. He was baptized early in life, and that spiritual foundation remained with him throughout the years.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and treasured memories through his siblings, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and greatnephews. He is also fondly remembered by a host of other relatives and friends whose lives he touched over the years.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Agnew Funeral Home, 1110 Baptist Hill, Greensboro, Alabama.
