The Greensboro Police Department is investigating a report that a mayoral candidate was seen removing campaign signs in the Lions Park area on June 12.
According to the weekly incident reports provided by the department, officers responded after receiving a complaint about the candidate removing signage. The report did not specify whose signs were involved or whether any laws were violated.
As of press time, no arrests had been made and no further information was available. GPD says the matter remains under investigation.
