Hale student graduates MMI, receives officer’s commission

Marion Military Institute (MMI) congratulates Markuis Crider, of Moundville, for earning an Associate’s Degree and becoming an Army officer on May 10. A GED graduate, who completed MMI’s Early Commissioning Program, Crider was one of 63 cadets participating in the college’s Commencement Ceremony. Later that afternoon, Crider also commissioned as a U.S. Army second lieutenant in a separate ROTC ceremony.
