AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1106 TUSCALOOSA STREET IN GREENSBORO, ALABAMA
An Ordinance to amend the zoning ordinance adopted November 28, 1978, providing for zones and districts within the City Limits of Greensboro, Alabama.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Greensboro, Alabama, has received a request to rezone certain property located at 1106 Tuscaloosa Street, from B-1 (Central Business District) to R-1 (Single-Family Residential District); and
WHEREAS, the Greensboro Planning Commission has duly held a public hearing on said request and has recommended approval of the proposed rezoning; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed zoning change is consistent with the City’s comprehensive plan, serves the public interest, and promotes the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Greensboro;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GREENSBORO, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. PROPERTY REZONED
