The Perry County Historical and Preservation Society will host its annual Low Country Boil on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Marion Female Seminary, located at 204 West Monroe Street in Marion, Alabama. This beloved community tradition offers a feast of shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, and homemade desserts.
An exciting highlight of this year’s event is the reunion of Perry County’s own Kudzu String Band. Known for their good humor and “old-timey” music, the band’s return promises to make the evening even more special. Tickets are $25 per plate, with children under 5 admitted free of charge.
