Uniontown woman arrested on sexual abuse charges December 28

Kaliera Tarshae Foster, a 25-year-old resident of Uniontown, has been charged with two felonies stemming from an alleged incident involving a minor that occurred earlier this year. According to court records filed in Perry County, Foster is accused of first-degree sexual abuse and second-degree sodomy.

The charges relate to an incident on March 1, 2024, at a residence on Old Hamburg Road in Uniontown. The allegations involve a 12-year-old victim. Law enforcement documents detail the nature of the charges, which include engaging in unlawful conduct with a person under the age of consent. Both charges are serious offenses under Alabama law, with the first-degree sexual abuse charge categorized as a Class C felony and the second- degree sodomy charge as a Class B felony.

Foster was arrested on December 28, 2024, following the investigation and has been held at the Perry County Jail. A bond was set at $45,000.
