Homecoming at Waycross Bible Methodist church is Sunday June 12. Rev. Mike Pepple will be preaching. Church begins at 11 am. Pot luck dinner to follow. Afternoon signing will begin around 1:30. All are invited to attend.

Shelton State Athletics announced on June 4, 2025, that Lori Westbrook Wyatt Edwards will be inducted into their Hall of Fame. Lori had a dominant record as a softball pitcher at Marengo Academy, going 68 consecutive games without a loss between 1980 and 1982. Her team won three straight AISA state championships in these years and Lori herself was named MVP in ’81 and ’82.
